New dividend policy for East Capital Explorer

Today, the Board of Directors of East Capital Explorer resolved to adopt a new
dividend policy.

East Capital Explorer intends to pay an annual dividend that will be at least
50 percent of dividends received from its holdings, and targeted to steadily
increase over time. In addition, and after consideration of the Company's
balance sheet and investment opportunities, the Board may also consider
redemption or share buyback programs. The method used will depend on what is
assessed to provide the best shareholder value at the given time.

"The new dividend policy reflects the ongoing transformation of East Capital
Explorer, which is becoming an increasingly streamlined private equity and real
estate investor with holdings that over time will generate stable and growing
cash flows. With an ordinary dividend as a base, share redemptions and
repurchases can also be used from time to time to enhance shareholder value. The
recent years' redemption programs have offered our shareholders a yield of
around 8 percent", Chairman Paul Bergqvist said in a statement.

The new dividend policy will apply after today's Annual General Meeting, which
is proposed to resolve on a third redemption program whereby 5 percent of the
Company's outstanding shares can be redeemed at Net Asset Value of SEK 83 per
share. Dividend in accordance with the new policy will be proposed to the AGM as
of 2016.
