Sustainability

Eastnine's sustainability ambition is to define the future of sustainable real estate in our regions. For Eastnine, sustainability is an integral part of the company’s general management strategy, taking responsibility for the environment, the people and the markets in which we operate.

Our responsibility

Eastnine aims to define the future of sustainable real estate in our regions. We run both our business in a resource-efficient way and at the same time contribute to the real estate industry in our region developing in a sustainable direction.

Our sustainability agenda encompasses energyefficient and futureproof buildings, efforts to enhance the wellbeing and productivity of our tenants’ employees, effective corporate governance, and a work environment prioritising both physical and mental health for the employees.

Eastnine’s sustainability efforts are directed by e.g. the UN framework Global Compact and its ten principles around human rights, labour rights, environmental issues and anti-corruption efforts. With inspiration from this framework and among other GRI Standards, CSRD, EU taxonomy and in close dialogue with our stakeholders, Eastnine has identified material topics within three value-adding areas through a double materiality analysis; future-proof properties, sustainable investment and responsible business practices, which are laying the foundation for our goals and sustainability efforts in the long term. The Company works continually to improve the energy performance of, and to reduce emissions from, the properties.
